Ingredients
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup milk
- 2 cups grated parmesan cheese
- 16 ounce package of noodles
Instructions
- Add water to a large pot and bring the water to a boil.
- Add the noodles to the boiling water and boil according to the package instructions.
- When the noodles are done boiling, drain the water and set the noodles aside.
- Make the sauce by placing the sauté pan on the stovetop and turning the burner on to medium.
- Add the butter, garlic, salt and pepper to the pan.
- Allow the butter to melt.
- Once the butter has melted, pour the heavy cream and milk into the pan.
- Whisk the heavy cream, milk and butter together.
- Bring the sauce to a boil and allow it to boil for 30 seconds before turning the burner off.
- Pour the Parmesan cheese into the pan.
- Stir the cheese into the sauce to allow the cheese to melt.
- Allow the sauce to sit for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
- Transfer the boiled noodles into the sauté pan and stir to coat the noodles with the sauce before serving.
